Nigel Naden

Nigel has been in the asset management industry since 1999, where he was cofounder and Managing Director of Zone Trader Ltd Inc. Zone Trader identified a gap in the market for whole life asset management and uniquely implemented a programme known as Surplus Asset Management (SAM). Latterly SAM became exclusively adopted by the likes of Ford Motor Company, Pepsi, Delphi, Eaton, Jaguar, Land Rover, Dana, Ocean Spray, Proctor and Gamble and Tyco.

Zone Trader was successfully acquired by DoveBid where Nigel was employed as European General Manager to continue managing existing contracts and develop new client opportunities.

Under this framework the DoveBid client portfolio grew to include Cadbury,
Merck Pharmaceuticals, Pfizer, Nokia, Ericsson.

As part of the whole life asset management program several of these clients successfully managed complete plant closures, plant relocations and extracted value from end of life assets. Nigel worked closely with each of these clients to implement the optimal process to deliver greater corporate control, in terms of visibility, communication, reporting and corporate governance.
