Our specialist engineering team work across a multitude of disciplines, bringing together the skills and experience needed for your project. Choose from the options below to learn more.
We offer the expertise necessary to complete high quality, rigorous design engineering works that span the full breadth of the engineering industry.
Our team can provide a full decommissioning service as an integral part of other services or as a standalone service. We can support most types of industries with their need to decommission or remove unwanted assets. This includes energy, power generation, oil and gas installations (both onshore and offshore), airport, food and beverage industries.
Our decommissioning support services include:
Our service extends to:
Indassol has extensive experience dismantling and relocating assets for clients in a number of industries, including power generation, food and beverage and airside operations.
We offer a full range of services including project management and dismantling through to shipping, redesign and re-installation.
The key benefits of any major asset relocation and reuse are reduced costs and improved timescales over purchasing from new. The management and scheduling of activities at both existing and new locations are key to ensuring maximum return on investment.
Our commissioning services can play an important role in minimising risks and achieving performance goals right from the start of a project.
Commissioning is a critical stage in the life of any facility. The process may be thought of as a series of vital checks, these checks will prove the integrity of all the systems.
Our comprehensive approach helps our clients meet a host of challenges such as cost control, schedule adherence, regulatory, health, safety and environmental compliance and operational performance.
We offer the following commissioning services:
Our specialists provide engineering and construction services to the oil and gas industry, for both onshore and offshore installations. We have extensive experience of survey reports, design engineering, construction workpacks, supplier liaison, laser scanning and 3D modelling.
Monitoring the supply chain from design, materials verification, fabrication, testing and certification is key to ensuring quality standards and delivery timescales are achieved. We can work closely with suppliers to ensure ‘failure to fit’ events are eliminated minimising downtime for services, facilities or production activities.
We can also manage the specification, construction and delivery of key packaged equipment by providing the services of a dedicated Package Engineer. Tightly controlling all aspects of a major package is fundamental to ensuring the overall project is delivered to schedule and budget.
Our team, having provided multi-discipline engineering and construction services to some of the world’s leading oil and gas multi-national companies such as BP, Conoco Phillips, CNR, Centrica, TAQA and Perenco are well placed to meet the requirements of the oil and gas industry.
Safety is paramount to all our activities, services and operations. A culture of safety first is engrained in everything we do and is second nature to the trained and certified teams involved.
The ability to identify and track parts of a dismantled asset throughout their journey to their destination and storage is critical to any project.
Our team deploy 2 distinct services to facilitate the reconstruction.
1. Match Marking
A specific code is marked on each dismantled piece that matches with its adjacent piece at the break point. Colour coding is deployed to give a quick visual reference to assist with the identification of pieces from the same structure or process. Markings and colours are then matched up and aligned for reconstruction.
2. Bar Coding
Each dismantled piece will be allocated a unique bar code which can be scanned during packing and transport/shipping to track its location. Bulk items and containers are uniquely bar coded so that each piece stored within can be traced to a specific location.
Information relating to the dismantled asset such as dimensions, weight, description and activity dates are stored on a database that is continuously updated as the project progresses.
Once containers and bulk items reach their destination, the database can be issued to the construction site to assist with the location of the dismantled pieces and drive efficiencies throughout the reconstruction stage.
We offer 3D models created using a FARO FOCUS 3D Scanner, a superb tool for creating digital documentation.
We use the latest 3D laser scanning instruments which collect millions of measurements in three dimensions called point clouds. The result is an organised 3D digital representation of a subject which is delivered quickly, efficiently and accurately.
Real-time access to this data can provide critical measurements instantly, or once post-processing techniques are applied, can provide the measurement platform to extract 2D drawings, 3D models or building information modelling deliverables.
The versatility of 3D laser scanning combined with our ability to handle complex environments means we can deliver accurate measurements for a wide range of applications.
Selecting the correct handling method for your asset is crucial from a safety, legal and economic stand point. Whether your asset requires specialist lifting, transportation and shipping or containerising, we can provide the solution.
Surveys carried out prior to project commencement will identify such items and allowances can therefore be made in advance for the selection of the correct lifting equipment, road transport, cargo and chartered vessels.
Our team have extensive experience of co-ordination and planning between specialists and authorities, essential for the smooth removal and transportation from site to destination.
