Item 1
Pfaudler Balfour 316L Stainless Steel Blue Glass Lined 3120 Litre Jacketed Double Cone
Blender, has a Nominal Working capacity of 3120 Litres, and a Full Capacity of 4708 Litres. The
Double Cone is 2.2m in Diameter, with a Central Straight side of 0.7m, is fitted at one end with a
600mm diameter hinged and clamped Manway, and at the other end with a fitted 300mm diameter
Actuated Butterfly Valve, which is used for the filling from above by means of the overhead First
Floor Big Bag Filling system, and for discharging below via the Nitrogen pressurised / sealed Mobile
Transfer Vessel Filling system. The Double Cone Blender is driven at a speed of 25 RPM, by means of
the EXe rated 415v 3 Phase 50 Hz 22 Kw direct coupled motor and gearbox drive system.The Double
Cone Blender measures 4.8 x 3.7 x 6.6m high with the cone raised vertically, and weighs approx 12
Tonnes.

Item 2
Overhead First Floor Big Bag Loading system, consists of a 6m long x 1.5 SWL Overhead beam
mounted, electrically driven hoist, fitted with a 800 Kg rated Big Bag S/s Lifting Frame, which lifts the
Big Bags of powder over the upright Double Cone Blender trolley mounted feed shute system, which
has been previously been pnematically lowered over the opened inlet valve of the blender. The
Operators control these operations from the surrounding overhead S/s Operator Access Platforms.
The 1st Floor Big Bag Loading System measures 4m x 4m x 2.8m high, and weighs approx 3 Tonnes.

Item 3
Both the 1st Floor Loading & Ground Floor Unloading operations are dust extracted by
means of 2 off S/s trox Technik Dust Filtration units, mounted on 4 legs, which each measure 1.5 x
0.8 x 1.9m high, and weigh approx 300 Kgs each.

Item 4
The Double Cone Blender comes complete with 12 off Hickey, 500 Litre Capacity, Mobile
Transfer Vessels, BY‐7821 A‐L, which are each fitted with a 450mm diameter Quick Release Lid, and a
central bottom outlet fitted with a manual discharge valve. The Transfer Vessel are designed to
operate at Atsmosperic Pressure at 100 degrees C, and are each mounted on 4 off Swivel lockable
castors. The transfer Vessels each measure 1m diameter x Straight Side 0.7m, and measure
externally 1m x 1.1m x 1.3m high, and weigh approx 100 Kgs each.

Item 5
Transfer Vessel filling system weighing system and Control Panels. The Transfer Vessel being
filled is mounted on a guided floor mounted Mettler Toledo ID3sTx weighscale, which measures
1.5m wide x 1.26m long x 90mm high, which is fitted with a front ramp. The total size = 1.5m wide x
2.06m long x 90mm high, and weighs approx 300 Kgs. The Transfer Vessel Weigh Scale / Filling
Operation is controlled by an adjacent 2001 S/s Mettler Toledo Control panel, S/N 2470609, which is
linked to the adjacent support stand mounted Double Co

Pfaudler Balfour 316L Stainless Steel Blue Glass Lined 4700 Litre Jacketed Lagged and painted
Glass Fibre Clad Double Cone Blender, has a Nominal Working capacity of 4700 Litres, and a Full
Capacity of 7250 Litres, for the Primary blending of the raw powder mixture. The Double Cone is
2.6m in Diameter, with a Central Straight side of 0.9m, is fitted at one end with a 600mm diameter
hinged and clamped Manway, and at the other end with a fitted 300mm diameter Actuated Butterfly
Valve, which is used for the filling from above by means of the overhead First Floor Big Bag Filling
system, and for discharging below via the sealed Big Bag Filling system. The Double Cone Blender is
driven at a speed of 25 RPM, by means of the EXe rated 415v 3 Phase 50 Hz 22 Kw 1460 RPM direct
coupled motor and gearbox drive system. The Double Cone Blender measures 5.2 x 3.7 x 6.6m high
with the cone raised vertically, and weighs approx 15 Tonnes, and is controlled by a front mounted
Control Panel measuring 600 x360 x 650mm high.

Item 3
Once the Primary Blending operation is complete the Double Cone Blender discharges via its
300mm diameter actuated Butterfly valve into the 2001 Hosakawa Big Bag Loading System, PN‐
2208‐2, S/No PLS 5761‐A, which makes use of a Applied Vibration Tube Feeder Unit, S/No A8407/A
to meter the blended powder into the Big Bag S/s frame supported, internal plastic liner via the
expanded Bellows sealer unit.

The Big Bag being filled is situated inside a tared Plastic Tote Bin which is in turn sitting on a
S/s guided floor mounted Mettler Toledo ID3sTx weighscale, which measures internally 1.5m wide x
1.5m long x 60mm high. The Big Bag filling operation is all controlled by the Hosakawa S/s Control
Panel, measures 750 x 470 x 750mm high, and is mounted on the rear Operator Access platform,
which is linked to the front mounted 2001 Mettler Toledo ID3sTx Weighscales Control Panel, S/No
2463748, which measure 260×350 x 180mm high.The total size of the Big Bag Filling / Weighing
System = 1.7m wide x 3.7m long x 2.5m high, and weighs approx 800 Kgs.

On the First Floor room above the Blender is the ceiling mounted Big Bag Hoist, which lifts
the Big Bags of powder over the upright Double Cone Blender trolley mounted feed 300mm
diameter aspirated shute system, which has been previously been pnematically lowered over the
opened inlet valve of the blender. The Operators control these operations from the surrounding
overhead white painted Mild steel Operator Access Platforms. This 1st Floor Big Bag Loading System
measures 5.2m x 4.5m x 3.35m high, and weighs approx 4 Tonnes.

Overhead First Floor 3.6m high ceiling mounted Big Bag Loading system, consists of a 6m
long x 1.5 SWL Overhead Lifting beam, fitted with an electrically driven Italkrana hoist, fitted with a
800 Kg rated Big Bag S/s Lifting Frame. Item 6, S/s Big Bag Transfer Trolley, mounted on 4 lockable
swivel castors, measuring 1.1 x 1.1 x 1.4m high, and weighing 300 Kgs. Item 7, Ground Floor Blender
room, Big Bag floor mounted QC weighment checking floor scales, which consist of a S/s ramped
floor mounted Mettler Toledo ID7sx weighscale, which measures internally 1.5m wide x 1.25m long
x 100mm high, which is linked to wall mounted 2004 Mettler Toledo ID7sx Weighscale Control Panel,
PN‐2201‐2, S/No 2673739, which measure 360 x 200 x 250mm high.The total size of the Big Bag QC
